On September 17th, I attended the 78th Annual Moon Festival in Chinatown, Los Angeles. This event celebrates 3 different elements that always seemed to resonate with me: Gathering, Thanksgiving, and Prayer. I tend to naturally gravitate towards people and places that focus on comradery, unity, and just an overall sense of positivity, so this event only made sense. At this festival, fellow Angelino’s and other patrons got to enjoy various activities such as dancing at a popup dance floor with a DJ, checking out jewelry/art from local vendors, and live music from multiple bands. On top of all the fun, festival goers also got the chance to blow up confetti cannons! My friends and I decided to go on a whim, not knowing what to expect, but man, were we pleasantly surprised.
These photos showcase our experience! Enjoy!
There was even a FREAKING MONKEY
